I am a person who values connection and collaboration. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the driving force in successful outcomes in counseling. I strive to utilize my experience and training while being authentically human in the therapy space. I attempt to balance compassion and acceptance with challenge and change in  therapy.

At my core I am a trauma therapist, through my own therapeutic work and in my 12 years of experience as a clinician I have found it is important to understand how our past influences the present so we can heal our old wounds without getting stuck in them.

I love to read and learn and will likely quote or paraphrase concepts with you in session. I have surrounded myself with people who are incredibly skilled and talented whom I love to learn and grow with.

Some of my most challenging and therapeutic moments have been spent either on a raft or a trail. Mother Nature is my teacher. I feel most at home adventuring in the desert surrounded by my husband and close-knit group of friends listening to Fleetwood Mac or Yacht Rock and playing dominoes. I love art and being creative. I like myself most when I am being curious and playful.

I believe therapy is a place where you can put it all on the table- your struggles, your questions, your
hopes – and be met with empathy, not judgement. Whether you’re facing depression or anxiety, healing
from trauma, wrestling with identity questions, or navigating the complexities of process addiction, my
goal is to help you feel deeply heard and supported.

I work with individuals, couples and families who are looking for meaningful change and a more
grounded sense of self. My approach is relational and collaborative, and rooted in the belief that change
happens through connection. I primarily use EMDR to support trauma recovery and integrate various
modalities with emotion regulation, boundaries and resilience. Therapy with me is both practical and
compassionate- we will focus on insight and healing, but also skills that help you move forward day-to-
day.

You don’t need to have the perfect words, a clear goal, or even a good day to show up in therapy. You
just have to be you- and we can figure it out together.

I am a California girl at heart, but have come to love the high desert and warmth of the red rocks. My
energy source comes from time with family and friends, and belly laughs. I am currently redefining my
identity as an empty nester and learning how to find meaning in the small things.

If you’re over therapy being called a “healing journey”, then I’m the right fit for you! I’m a big believer that authentic growth is often messy, complex, dynamic and rarely fits a cute cliche. During my 12 years of working as a Social Worker and 10 years as a Clinician I’ve had the honor of meeting and staying with folks during their most challenging life moments. In the therapeutic space I value relationship, curiosity, play, and humor. Sessions with me are equal parts laughter and tears, and I am always eager to see you. I am a therapist in therapy because I believe wholeheartedly in this work.

I am a midwestern at heart as I was raised in Michigan (the one with the lakes) and spent many years in Iowa (the one with the corn). I was raised on Mr. Rogers and will inevitably reference Carl Jung in session. I have too many plants and watch too much reality tv. I am loved by my stoic husband, goofball dogs, kind mother, and an extraordinary group of friends. When traveling I will always seek out an interesting coffee shop and make a beeline for a museum.

Do you find yourself feeling unheard and unseen? Do you sometimes feel an urge to just scream to the world what you’re going through? Do you feel like no matter how hard you try you just can’t seem to get it right or for it to be enough? I am passionate about navigating the vulnerability, fear, and desperation that can be found in attending therapy while embracing the humor, fun, and relationship of it all.

I am a little bit punk rock, a wanna be hippie, and a whole lot of curiosity. I spend most of my time trying to convince my husband to buy me a dog and don’t know the words “relaxing vacation”. I believe sharing memes is a love language and that while chocolate can’t solve all problems…it definitely helps.

Born and raised in Austin, then moved to California for my teenage years! I’m currently living in Fort Worth, Texas where my husband is attending his residency training at JPS Hospital in family medicine. I studied psychology at BYU and graduated in 2020. During my time at BYU, I volunteered at the Utah State Hospital working with mentally-ill youth, and I worked in a psychiatric clinic. As cliche as it comes, my husband was the first guy I talked with at BYU and I was the first girl he had spoken to since moving up to Provo. We were both transfer students attending an orientation meeting. Since graduating, I have worked with various companies as an executive assistant and loved my time working in a corporate work setting. My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Evelyn, in 2022 and Harvey, in 2024. They have been an absolute joy in our lives. I am an avid book reader in my free time. I also enjoy working out, cooking, and have recently tried my hand in painting.

When my daughter was born, I, like many others moms, struggled fitting into my new job as mom. I was diagnosed with severe postpartum depression. I was no stranger to therapy, but for some reason it was extremely hard for me to admit I needed help. My angel husband helped encourage me to get the help I needed and I will be forever grateful to him for not letting me suffer alone. Therapy genuinely saved me from anxiety, deep depression, and the dangers associated with that. I love therapy and think everyone can benefit from it!
